Common questions

A little help to get your booth ready.

Getting started

What should I check before an event?

Run a test session with your chosen template, lighting, and sharing options. If you plan to print, test a print too. Keep your device charged and check your connection before guests arrive.

Can I use my own design?

Yes. Use the template editor to customize your layout, fonts, and stickers. Test your design with a photo before using it at an event.

What if my printer does not appear?

Check that your printer supports AirPrint, is switched on, and is connected to the same network as your device. Try a test print and include the printer model if you contact support.

Subscriptions & devices

Can I download the app on a new device?

Sign in to the App Store with the same Apple Account used for your original download, then download Photo Booth App again.

What should I send for subscription help?

Describe what is happening and include the plan name and any error message. If you send a screenshot, hide payment details and other personal information. Never send your password.

Contact & feedback

How fast will I hear back?

Most messages get a reply within 24–48 hours. Tell us your event date if you need help before then.

What should I include in a bug report?

Include your device model, iOS and app versions, what you did before the problem happened, and what you expected to happen. A screenshot or short screen recording can help too.

Can I request a feature?

Yes. Tell us what you’d like to do and how it would help at your events. You can also check the release notes for recent improvements.
