Who we are
GoInspired LLC operates Photo Booth App and thephotoboothapp.com. This policy explains how we handle information when you use the app, website, web dashboard, and online photo galleries.
Information we collect
- Account information: when you sign in with Apple, we receive an account identifier and the name or email address Apple provides, which may be a private relay address. We store profile information you choose to provide.
- Synced content: supported event settings, templates, guest screens, and associated artwork are stored when you use account backup or sync, including the web editor.
- Uploaded photos: photos and related event information are processed when you upload captures for online delivery or galleries. Capturing and saving locally does not, by itself, upload your photos to our servers.
- Purchases: purchase records and information about which paid features you can use help us provide those features. App Store payments are handled by Apple; we do not receive your full payment card details.
- Support: we receive your name, email, message, and any attachments or diagnostic information you send us.
- Technical information: service logs and diagnostics may include IP addresses, device and app versions, request times, and error details. Website analytics help us understand visits and page usage.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts, restore purchases, sync supported content, deliver uploaded photos, operate galleries, respond to support requests, investigate errors, and protect the service against abuse. We also use usage information to improve the product.
We may send product updates where permitted. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. Account and service messages may still be necessary to provide the features you use.
Guest photos and sharing
Event organizers choose the capture, sharing, and gallery settings. If you are a guest, ask the organizer how your photos and any contact details you provide will be used. Contact the organizer about copies held on their booth device or downloaded by other guests.
Online photo and gallery links allow people with the active link to access the shared content. Someone who receives a link can forward it or keep a downloaded copy. Share links only with the people you intend to give access to.
Service providers and disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information or media. We use service providers to operate the features you request and maintain the service:
- Apple: Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases.
- RevenueCat: checking purchases and access to paid features.
- BugSnag: app error reporting and diagnostics.
- Statcounter: website visitor analytics.
- Umami: cookie-free website analytics, including clicks on App Store links.
- Resend: email delivery.
Hosting and storage providers process information needed to run the website, accounts, sync, and uploaded media. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to investigate abuse or protect the service and its users.
Storage, deletion, and your choices
Account and synced content are stored to provide the features you use. Uploaded photo and gallery links may have an expiry; check the settings for the content you share. An expired link is not a guarantee that every stored or downloaded copy has immediately been erased.
You can delete your account through the app or contact us for help. Account deletion removes the account and its supported synced data. It does not cancel an App Store subscription or erase copies saved on devices or downloaded by guests. Contact us separately about uploaded photos or galleries you want removed.
You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by emailing us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights, including objection, restriction, portability, or withdrawal of consent where consent applies. We may need to verify your identity. Some records may need to be retained for legal, transaction, security, or support purposes. We retain an email suppression record to respect marketing opt-outs.
Security and external services
We use technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no system or internet transmission is completely secure. Keep your devices and account access secure. External websites and services have their own privacy practices; this policy does not govern them.
Changes to this policy
We will publish updates on this page and change the last-updated date. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent, those requirements apply.
